A page about ... poop! 'God's Gift to the Gardener'.
Okay, so it's not particularly glamorous, but poop is a very real issue when you keep pet bunnies or rather, more to the point, the issue is what to do with it! Rabbits are perfect manure machines producing neat, dry, odourless pellets throughout the day so bunny poop can very quickly pile up which we know all too well hence the trusty 'Poop Mobile' (aka wheelbarrow) tends to be in constant use for our daily hutch and litter-tray clean-out. Luckily, bunny poop is one of the best fertilisers for growing fruit and veg. Its high level of nitrogen (N) promotes vegetative growth while phosphorus (P) is important for fruit and flower formation. The comparison table below shows that bunny manure is superior to other manure from other sources. Often it is jovially referred to by gardeners and growers as "Bunny Gold," and users revel in the fast and abundant growth of their crops, plants, gardens and produce. Providing it is not soaked in urine, it can be used on plants immediately it produced - and even whilst still warm!
