The dubious fashions shown in these photographs
are a selection of our avidly chewed 'bunny outfits' - they are not our normal
clothes!
Contact Information
Any bunnies
adopted must be offered ample space, daily fuss, love and cuddles and lots
of affection. As our family pets, this is how they have been raised
and we insist this must be continued - as do the buns themselves!
Our bunnies are available to loving and
permanent pet homes only and must
not be used for breeding unless this is agreed at the time of reservation.
-
- Babies Available for
Adoption:
Please
note: we are not a pet shop and the babies have been bred to ensure the
continuity of our lines - a long-term hobby which began in 1972. We keep
some girls from each litter but usually offer all boys for adoption
since we use our retained girls to continue our lines.
Any babies available for adoption are our surplus stock from litters we have
privately bred ourselves in order to maintain the lines of our family pets.
They are offered to loving
pet homes only.

- Telephone
Number for enquiring about our baby rabbits:
- Tel: 07769
630079 between 1pm-6pm daily, including weekends and Bank
Holidays (except Christmas-New Year).
-
If
the phone isn't answered, pleased call again about 2 hours later. We could be driving and unable to
answer.
-
-
- Directions:
- Ross Rabbits is not a pet shop but a
private
family home situated less than 2 minutes away from the M50 motorway (junction
4) in Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire. Consequently, we don't
have 'opening hours' but arrange to meet bunny adopters at an agreed
time to collect your fluffy bundles, 2-3 weeks following
weaning.
-
- We will provide full detailed
directions, together with feeding instructions, settling-in information
and Care Sheets prior to collection.
-
- Any babies adopted must be personally
collected from our home. Bunnies can be taken overseas into
Europe, including France and Belgium but cannot be taken to Australia,
New Zealand or the USA.

Note re AOL email
addresses:
(AOL
appear to have revised their policies from October 2007 so the following is now
less of a problem)
We
sometimes experience
difficulties in replying to emails sent from AOL addresses so if you
contact us and fail to receive a reply within 48 hours then please
contact us again using a different email account if you have one.
If not, we recommend setting up a free Hotmail or similar account.
A hotmail account can be set up by visiting www.hotmail.com
. There is no
charge for using these services and you can continue to use your current
ISP.
The AOL problem is caused by AOL's exclusive
requirement for 'reverse DNS' to be installed by any ISP contacting
an AOL address - and, like most UK ISPs ours
uses a dynamic IP address.
This means that we can only reply very briefly to AOL users (if at
all) using the subject line only and cannot send photos, links, file attachments or any information about
bunnies or use the word 'rabbit' which is blocked(!). This is a well-known problem with AOL and if you do any online
shopping it is a difficulty you will probably have encountered previously.
Many stores offering online shopping request a non-AOL contact address for this
reason.
This is a
most frustrating situation because it means we cannot answer queries etc for AOL
users until you set up an alternative account.
Another
option, would be to switch to a British or a more UK-friendly and co-operative ISP!
